From March 7 to 20, 2025, ten enthusiastic Grade 4 to 6 students from Sunflower Trilingual School (STS) had an amazing chance to dive into Taiwanese culture and education at The Affiliated Experimental Elementary School of National Taichung University. Shortly after, from March 12 to 20, 2025, sixteen Grade 8-9 students participated in a fun academic exchange at Taichung Municipal Hui-Wen High School.
The Taiwan Camp was more than just a language and cultural swap—it was a life-changing adventure. Our students improved their Chinese language skills through lively classes and real-life interactions, while also experiencing Taiwan’s rich traditions, school system, and lifestyle. They learned through teamwork in the classroom, exciting cultural activities, and meaningful conversations, making learning a thrilling and personal journey.
Beyond academics, the camp helped forge friendships and cultural ties that will last forever. Whether sharing meals, working on fun projects, or simply enjoying each other’s company, STS students and their Taiwanese friends-built understanding and camaraderie that transcends borders.
This program was about much more than just studying—it focused on personal growth, connection, and inspiration. It highlighted the value of global teamwork, cultural appreciation, and the countless opportunities that come from exploring new experiences.
We can’t wait for more chances to continue this meaningful exchange, strengthen our ties with sister schools, and open doors to even more exciting learning adventures in the future.
