We are excited to share that our school recently participated in the esteemed International Math Challenge 2024 and brought home several remarkable awards! This event, held on November 15, 2024, brought together the brightest young minds from schools across the globe to showcase their mathematical skills and problem-solving abilities online.
This year’s International Online Math Challenge saw 12,286 registrations from 140 countries, with about 9,695 participants competing from 85 nations. Sixty students from Sunflower Trilingual School took part in the international math challenge across various categories (Kids Category, Levels 1-5), with 25 of our students qualifying for the Global Round, which will be held on February 16, 2025, culminating in an in-person global math challenge.
A special shout-out goes to Thanakrit Luesukpraset (G. 6/3), Pattira Lertkajornpaisam (G. 9/2), and Yen Wei Lee (G. 11), who each earned silver awards for their outstanding performances in categories 2, 4, and 5, respectively. Congratulations also to all the bronze and silver award recipients, who are among the top performers and have secured their spots in the IMC Global Round in Bangkok, Thailand!
These achievements not only bring pride to our school but also motivate our students to continue striving for excellence. We hope to leverage this success as a foundation for future.
