On February 13, 2025, Sunflower Trilingual School concluded its last Thematic Learning Integration of the school year through a highly anticipated Culminating Activity-themed “Borderless World” at the school hall at 1:35 pm. This special event, which spanned over a month and a half of immersive learning, was designed to celebrate students' deep understanding of the world's continents — Asia, Oceania, Africa, Europe, North America, and South America.

The event aimed to showcase students' creativity and hard work by presenting their knowledge and outputs about each continent, including information on food, animals, travel destinations, fashion, music, games, and more. Every grade level, under the guidance of their English, Chinese, and Social Studies teachers, was responsible for constructing and setting up a unique booth representing one of the continents.

The festivities began with a lighting ceremony led by the school director, Dr. Kwantip Chinsettawong. She officially opened the event with a symbolic gesture, pinning a location on a giant world backdrop, which was illuminated with a dazzling display of lights. This marked the start of an exciting journey through the continents, where each booth offered students a chance to explore and learn.
One of the highlights of the culmination was the thrilling “Search for Mr. and Ms. Intercontinental 2025.” Two representatives from each continent walked the stage proudly, donning elaborate, continent-inspired costumes. The audience erupted in cheers as the candidates, not only showcasing their fashion but also their knowledge, participated in a question-and-answer portion. The contestants answered questions related to their respective continents, demonstrating both their brains and beauty. After an exciting round of competition, the winners were announced: Mr. Tiger from Europe and Ms. Pluem from Europe as well. Both were presented with awards by Dr. Kwantip Chinsettawong, acknowledging their outstanding performance.
The celebration continued with a recognition ceremony for the best-dressed students and teachers, further highlighting the festive and cultural spirit of the event. As the booths opened to the entire school, students eagerly explored each continent's exhibits, participating in fun games and collecting sweet rewards like candies for their efforts.
The "Borderless World" culmination was not just an event but a wonderful opportunity for students to engage with different cultures, showcase their learning, and enjoy a day of fun and celebration. It truly brought the world closer together, reminding everyone that while borders may divide us, the pursuit of knowledge and understanding has no limits.
Kudos to all the students, teachers, and staff who made this event a success — here's to a world without boundaries!
