Sunflower Trilingual School successfully organized the "Dharma Camp at Sunflower" project, aimed at fostering and developing the morality and ethics of its students. The camp was held for students of all grade levels, with each group attending a one-day session from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

The sessions were divided as follows:

  • Session 1: For students in grades 1, 3, and 4, on November 9, 2024.

  • Session 2: For students in grades 2, 5, and 6, on November 23, 2024.

  • Session 3: For students in grades 7 to 12, on November 30, 2024.

The camp took place at Sunflower Trilingual School, located in Khok Krabue Subdistrict, Mueang District, Samut Sakhon Province.

Objectives Achieved:

  1. Instilling Core Moral Values: The camp successfully instilled essential moral values such as love, kindness, gratitude, perseverance, patience, self-discipline, unity, and self-sacrifice for the common good.

  2. Practicing Mindfulness: Students learned and practiced basic mindfulness in their daily lives through various activities, including meditation, walking meditation, and mindfulness games.

The camp was led by a team of monks from Wat Nak Prok, headed by Phra Samuh Santhat Sanyajitto, the Secretary of the Wat Nak Prok Sunday Buddhist Study Center and a member of the 24th generation of foreign Dhamma Ambassadors.

This enriching experience has helped cultivate a strong moral foundation and mindfulness in our students, guiding them to lead lives grounded in ethical principles and compassion.
